How Auto Publisher connects to TikTok.
Auto Publisher is a desktop publishing workspace for creators and account managers. TikTok access is used only after the user authorizes the app and only for the account information and publishing actions needed for the user-selected workflow.

End-to-end flow
The user remains in control at every stage.
Approve access
TikTok displays the permissions requested by the app. The user chooses whether to authorize them. Auto Publisher never asks for the TikTok password or verification code.
Return to desktop
After authorization, TikTok redirects the result to the registered desktop callback and Auto Publisher displays the connected account information made available through the approved permissions.
Prepare a video
The user chooses a local video, prepares the supported caption and publishing settings, selects the authorized TikTok account, and reviews the post.
Confirm publishing
The user confirms the action. Auto Publisher then uses TikTok’s official content posting capability to submit the requested content and records the resulting status.
Revoke or delete
The user can disconnect the account, revoke authorization through TikTok, and submit a privacy or deletion request through our public support process.
Data and permissions
Only what the workflow needs.
The exact data available depends on the permissions approved by the user and the responses TikTok provides.
Account identification
Supported TikTok account identifiers and profile/display information are used to show which account is connected and selected for publishing.
Authorization tokens
OAuth access information is used to make authorized TikTok API requests. Tokens are not displayed on the public website and are not sold or shared with advertisers or data brokers.
Publishing information
Selected video files, captions, user-selected publishing options, schedules, and platform responses are processed to carry out and track the requested publishing action.

Platform integrity
What the TikTok integration does not do.

✓No artificial followers, likes, views, comments, or engagement.
✓No automated comments, follows, direct messages, or unsolicited interactions.

✓No attempt to bypass TikTok rate limits, review requirements, safety controls, or enforcement.
✓No sale of TikTok user data or OAuth tokens.
